Gratitude Journal #2

Posted on September, 29 at 7:58 am

This week is stress week, but I need to de-stress and stay positive, so here are some gratitude stuff!

1) Post-It madness. Since we needed one whole pack of Post-Its for Biology, I had my mother buy one pack. I’m not a Post-It user; I thought it was more of a hassle than a help. I was wrong. I’m addicted to bringing my Post-Its around and writing, writing, writing on them.

2)  Monologuing. I wasn’t picked to do a rush monologue for today!!! :D

3) Marie and Marielle. My two friends celebrate their birthday simultaneously in 6 hours. ;) Happy birthday guys!

4) Ateneo bonfire. Ateneo is an all-boys private school in my country. They just won the UAAP Basketball Finals against De la Salle [another all-boys private school] in 6 years, and they’re celebrating with a bonfire tomorrow! :D I won’t be going, but all my friends are. It looks reaaal fun.

5) San Beda Championship. My little brother studies in San Beda, a co-ed school, and they also won basketball…but in the NCAA. It means one day of no classes for him! :D

Gratitude Journal #1

Posted on September, 23 at 7:32 am

Okay. I adopted the idea from Fatima, and you have to write about 5 things in this day that you are thankful about. :)

1) My seatmate had her hair cut. Okay, I know that’s really nothing to get worked up or excited about, but she had a very bad haircut yesterday, and now she looks awesome. :) I’m happy for her.

2) The Biotrip Communal Fund. My friends and I are going to have our biotrip on February, and it costs around P2000 [around $40, if I'm not mistaken]. We decided to start having a communal fund, where we will ideally drop P10 per day. :) It’s easy and money-saving!

3) Google turning h4×0r. My friend Nicole showed this to me some time ago…it’s so cool! :D Wanna s3a|2ch? Or maybe you’re ph33|1n6 |u(ky today? It’s somehow mind-boggling to read, but I’ve always liked spelling this way, as long as I’m not writing long stuff. :P

4) TAI TV. TAI TV is the vidcast of the rock band The Academy Is… It’s really funny and I’m currently downloading the 17th episode of Season 3. I’m excited! :D

5) Masquerade. A friend of my sister is going to have her birthday party this Saturday…and it’s a real-life Nancy Drew game! :D She’s veerrrry addicted to Nancy Drew. But the catch is we have to wear masks so that no one will recognize us. I’m planning my mask [a Venetian one]. It’s the first time I’ve done something creative in a long time.

How ’bout you guys? :)

Everybody’s Changing

Posted on September, 20 at 3:36 am

It’s funny how you’ve been best friends with someone for years, and yet now, she’s a lot different from what she was.

I just visited my ex-best friend’s site. She’s the same…but totally different. Do you know the feeling? There are some aspects of her that are the same (from what I saw) but there are some new things about her that I didn’t know. Ever.

It seems a little fast to start reminscing now, but I wish I were a kid again. :)

I’m reading A Separate Peace by John Knowles - very enlightening.

The Eraserheads Are Made of Awesome

Posted on September, 4 at 8:13 am

I went to the legendary Eraserheads concert last August 30. :) I got free tix from San Miguel. HERE are some pictures in my Multiply site.

I enjoyed, very much so.

Gerard Way dyed his hair red!? O_O He still looks hot though.

New Seating Arrangement

Posted on August, 26 at 7:04 am

Okay. I don’t know about you guys, but here in the Philippines, we usually change seats after every quarter. And since this year I’m the vice president, I was in charge of changing the seats.

I had no idea it was going to be this CRAZY!!! Everyone was requesting to be seated next to their friends or to smart people, so that they would have higher grades. Someone was at my feet, begging [literally!]; others were bribing me with cupcakes; and still others were just plain nagging me.

Today, I finally decided to implement the seating arrangement. My seatmate was none too happy with me [she was one of the constant naggers] and my afternoon was going very badly with her seated next to me. During Algebra, however, I started cracking my usual jokes with my teacher, and she couldn’t stop laughing.

I guess I’m going to have an awesome second quarter. :)

Viva La Vida

Posted on August, 20 at 4:35 am

What does Viva La Vida mean? (As everybody who’s into music probably knows, it’s the title of the new song by Coldplay) My sisters say it’s “long live life”, but I don’t think that makes good enough sense. :o

Does Obama have a Vice President in mind already?

I got into a problem with one of my closest friends. We were very close last year, and then she switched to another school. Right now, whenever she tries to talk to me through Yahoo! Messenger or email, I always cut her short, and I feel like I don’t want to talk to her. It feels awful sometimes, because she misses me a lot, but really, right now I couldn’t care less. Sometimes, she’s also hallucinatory and overdoes her fandom with Brendon Urie. :(

What should I do?

Panic at the Disco Live in Manila

Posted on August, 14 at 9:41 am

Okay, I’m probably one of a thousand of anguished Filipino bloggers out there, but that’s okay. As the annoyingly poppy High School Musical song says, “We’re all in this together.”

I can’t go to the Panic at the Disco concert, which is happening right now, 9.38pm at the Araneta Coliseum, here in Manila. Rawr. I wasn’t allowed to go because of financial constraints.

I wish I was rich. Blagh.

More on the P@TD autograph signing yesterday tomorrow. O_O Did you understand that?

Despair.nu

Posted on August, 6 at 6:03 am

There is one thing about the commenting site, Despair.nu, that annoys the hell out of me, and it’s people who do not comment without a valid reason.

I mean, hello, the main point about listing your blog in the rotations is to receive comments, and to give ‘em out, too. It’s understandable if your site is on hiatus, or you’ve got real-life problems troubling you. But if you just don’t comment ’cause you don’t want to, oh well, that’s a completely different story. Or if you forgot to post a hiatus note…um. Okay. Please don’t.

Oh well. Got to do more school stuff. Catch you guys on the flipside. :)
